aw, in the old forum we had so many guitar tabs
what kind of musice are you playing?

I'm playing bass and lead guitar, depending on what's needed. I play 80's rock, metal, blues.

I play bass and guitar. I can sing, but not while playing. My playing is rather in the beginner's department...

for how long have you been playing bass and the guitar? Is it a hobby? You have a group?

Oh, it's just for fun, there's no band. Just having a good time playing rock among friends! And it's merely about a year and a half that I taught myself guitar and less than a year that I started playing bass (bass I think is really cool). So yes, just a hobby.

today was a bit weird and emotional, yesterday John suggested that i should decorate the xmas tree, and i was highly surprised because last 4 years i almost was not allowed to touch a single ball because decorating the xmas tree was his thing. And i decorated with Paul the xmas tree in my house.
And then moving from my place to his place i started emptying my house, took some things with me and searching up the attick i found some xmas thingies, but not my old thingies i always put in my own xmas tree. So i came downstairs and felt a little disappointed, i opened the bag i had and found my xmas angel, deer, my moms xmas star and one plasitc snoopy xmas ball.
And then i started crying, for years i had decorated my own tree and now i felt sorry that i had thrown away all xmas decorations. I really missed them.
John was laughing and i also had to laugh in between, i had not expected that i would react like this because of a stupid xmas tree.
But then i remembered, the xmas stuff might still be in the garage. So i drove to Brunssum and YES,YES, YES, i found a bag with some of the decorations.
And this afternoon i hung my stuff with some of John's thingies (he has so much you could decorate three trees) and i am so happy that WE have a tree of US together now.

aaaaah! what a lovely story carla!!!! tears, huh??? perhaps some emotions you've kept inside, suddenly came out.

how we connect people with stuff. I mean, I am sure each decoration had its own story and thats why you missed them.

i guess it's the time of the year and well, deep down inside i still miss my own house a bit.
And then i thought maybe Paul also feels sort of the same, so i took the mini xmas tree from my mom, and searched for some decorations from which i know he'll recognize them when he feels them, so he can have his own little tree in his room :-)

Indii, you should decorate the tree dear, of course it's hard to celebrate xmas for the first time without your mom. and maybe you don't feel like decorating and thinking of xmas at all.
But i think in this dark month it's nice to have a xmas tree, i feel calm looking at my tree.
I hope you'll decide to decorate the tree, hugs

Sill hoping snow will come here..I was in a mad marathon till Christmas Eve-cleaning, presents, food etc-but all was worthing and all tenseness washed away when first carols sounded at my door- it was sang by 3 children from a special school with sad eyes but large smiles on their faces " The Star is rising up in the sky", then Andrada friends , a big group of 15 teenegers wit, and finnaly some graders from school-so good to see they are not forgotten me ) Oh and of course My Vio, Dragos and Vlad  singing , Vlad was clapping his hands and trying  to sing " Dom, Dom" - God, God!!
.. and presents under the tree, so much joy, and the biggest surprise , a new TV which will bring the LOTR and HObbit back into our evenings. Again, I want to keep this moment forever, to stop time!
